Greetings for the 2026 season

The 2025 growing season in Southern Ontario was an interesting one. This spring growers were challenged by several frost events during bloom with one weekend event taking a fairly hefty toll on bloom. Whether you watered or covered didn't seem to eliminate the damage risk.  Many growers suffered damage to some extent. A cool spring turned into a hot July & August which certainly had negative effects on summer yields in day neutrals.

Plant supplies look to be pretty normal and we anticipate the harvest of good quality bare root plants to start in mid November, as usual.  We still recommend getting orders in early as we will most likely run out of plants of some varieties as the weeks progress thru the winter. 

Our product range remains similar to past years with a supply of June strawberry varieties, day neutral varieties, raspberry & blackberry canes, rhubarb, asparagus & horseradish.
